This was my first experience at Nikas, and I had heard a lot about it. We were a large group, and since the space didn’t allow us to sit together, we were divided into two tables. The service was fine, and our orders arrived in a timely manner. I ordered the salmon, which was good but not extraordinary. The Greek salad was tasty as well. However, I ordered a large tzatziki but received a very small portion instead. Others in the group seemed more satisfied with their choices, so I feel I may not have been very lucky with mine. Overall, it was a good experience, and Nikas is a nice restaurant to enjoy some tasty Mediterranean dishes.

Amazing food, so delicious and flavourful! Very generous portions and great dessert! The very friendly staff made the dinning experience amazing. Highly recommended the moussaka and porc skewers. The flan was delish too!

Nikas is a fairly quaint restaurant, with room for about 50 or so customers if I had to estimate. Amazing atmosphere. They have many regulars, ranging from young to old, and the staff seems to be familiar with most of them. It’s the kind of diner that’s very tied into the community. I’ve come here a half a dozen times, and each time the service has been amazing. The waiters and waitresses have been very attentive, even when it’s on the busy side. You can tell the staff care about the customers, and the inverse is true as well. The food is great. It’s obviously not Michelin star at this price point, but I’ve never left hungry or unsatisfied. Their menus always have something that can scratch my itch; they have junk food, but also no shortage of fresh fruits and vegetables. Ultimately this diner is my girlfriend and I’s safe option- we know that we can come here for good food if no other options seem appealing . It’s a restaurant oriented towards returning customers, but at the same time it’s very welcoming to new ones.
